- On November 11, 2020, the second phase of soil stock piling is completed and efforts to establish vegetation along with security measures such as fencing and signage are reinstalled.

- On August 25, 2020, a “Developer Public Meeting” was held to update the community on progress that Catellus and the City of Austin have made towards implementing the Colony Park Sustainable Community.

- On July 23, 2020, the Economic Development Department in partnership withe Colony Park Neighborhood Association, hosted a virtual “Meet the Community” event where community members provided the history of the Colony Park. - On July 18, 2020, the City of Austin completes the first phase of soil stock piling and the contractor begins maintenance and safety oversight for the stock pile.
- On June 25, 2020, the Economic Development Department hosted a virtual “Meet The Developer” event with Catellus Development Corporation. Members of the Catellus Team discussed next steps for the implementing Colony Park Master Plan and took questions from attendees. - The City of Austin signs an Exclusive Negotiating Agreement with Catellus Development Corporation (Catellus).On May 11, 2020, the City of Austin begins stock piling soil at the 208-acre Colony Park Sustainable Community site. The soil will allow the City to begin preparing the site for future development. To safeguard the adjacent community, fencing and screening was installed around the area containing the soil. Additionally, silt fencing and other environmental controls were installed as required by code to protect the surrounding environment.
- In March 2020, Colony Park District Park Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting occurs.
- In February 2020, the Austin City Council approves an Interlocal Agreement between City of Austin and Central Health to explore opportunity for a Northeast Austin Health and Wellness Center on up to five acres within the 208-acre Colony Park Sustainable Community.
