The Colony Park Community extends sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of its recent holiday assistance event. Through generous in-kind and monetary donations, community partners and supporters helped create a meaningful and memorable experience for families across Colony Park.
This year’s event proudly served 287 vehicles and two walk-up families, ensuring that every participating household received holiday support. Each family was provided with a $20 H-E-B gift card, made possible through H-E-B’s continued partnership and commitment to the community.
To spread even more holiday cheer, 800 toys were purchased and distributed to children across three age groups—ages 3–5, 6–8, and 9–12. In the spirit of collaboration, the Colony Park Community was also honored to extend the impact beyond the event by donating 105 toys to the Turner-Roberts Recreation Center after-school program and 177 toys to the Givens Recreation Center Holiday Event, helping bring joy to even more families throughout the area.
The Central Texas Food Bank once again played a vital role in the event’s success by providing turkeys and holiday sides for each family served. Their support ensured that families not only received gifts, but were also able to enjoy a warm, shared holiday meal.
Supporters are invited to relive some of the joyful moments from the event by viewing photos that capture the smiling faces of volunteers and families whose holidays were brightened through this collective generosity.
